Cellular polycarbonate
Hollow sheet (cellular) polycarbonate is two -, three – or a four-layer construction which is filled by a great number of longitudinal crosspieces (connectors) or rigidity edges. This structure gives sheets special durability and flexibility providing wider fields of its application. Several other advantages possessed by such material structure are:

Heat-transfer resistance and sound insulation due to crosspieces filled with air between rigidity edges.

High rigidity and longevity due to its structure is much harder than glass although being rather flexible.

Lightness (small weight) hollow sheet polycarbonate is 6 times lighter than glass and 3 times lighter than acrylic glass. It gives a possibility to apply it in different constructions, arch-shaped constructions lowering gross weight of frame constructions and reducing loadings to the base of buildings.

High-impact resistance it doesn’t break in pieces like glass making it safer in use

(One-sided UV protection, this is a unique coating that provides protection against UV radiation.)
